Five-Star Resort Plans to Hire More Than 5,000 Operational Team Members Ahead of Mid-2019 Opening
 
EVERETT, MA (February 20, 2019) — Encore Boston Harbor is hosting a two-day career fair for all candidates interested in working at the Five-Star, $2.6 billion resort. The events will take place on Sunday, February 24, and Monday, February 25, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston (900 Boylston Street). Residents of Everett and surrounding communities will receive exclusive access from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.* Throughout the events, hiring managers will meet with candidates one-on-one to discuss employment opportunities.
 
Encore Boston Harbor plans to hire more than 5,000 operational team members ahead of opening, with a firm commitment to build a local and diverse workforce. In accordance with host and surrounding community agreements, hiring preference for all open positions will be given to properly qualified residents of Everett, Malden, Boston, Cambridge, Chelsea, Medford and Somerville. In addition, Encore Boston Harbor has pledged to employ 50 percent women, 40 percent minorities and three percent veterans to operate the resort.
