Hundreds Attend Wynn Resorts Career Showcases

LAS VEGAS (July 13, 2015)—More than 500 local residents attended Wynn Resorts Career Showcases that were hold over the weekend to learn about the many career opportunities available at the upcoming Wynn Resort in Everett. The two events—held on Saturday, July 11th, in Charlestown and Everett—provided guests with an opportunity to speak with employees who were flown in from Wynn Las Vegas and hear first-hand about many of the 4,000 positions that will be available at the $1.7 billion five-star Wynn Resort in Everett.

The attendees went from table to table to speak with Wynn representatives and learn about opportunities in hotel management, guest services, information technology, food & beverage, gaming operations, marketing, human resources and more. State Representatives Dan Ryan (Charlestown) and Joe McGonagle (Everett) were also in attendance.

It was impressive to see so many people take time on a beautiful Saturday in July and show genuine interest and enthusiasm for the 4,000 jobs that Wynn will be creating in Everett,” said Robert DeSalvio, President of Wynn Everett. “The excitement that everyone showed for our resort and the talent of people that we spoked with was amazing. Several people who currently work at casinos in Connecticut and Philadelphia drove all the way to Massachusetts to attend this event, which is a testament to Wynn’s reputation as being one of the most desirable workplaces in the industry.”

Wynn Resorts is consistently recognized for its industry leading training, benefits and workplace culture and has been honored as the highest ranking casino resort on FORTUNE Magazine’s World’s Most Admired Companies list (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015) and Entrepreneur Magazine’s 120 Most Trusted Brands (2014). The Las Vegas Review-Journal has also named Wynn Las Vegas as one of Nevada’s Top Workplaces (2013, 2014).

The Wynn Career Showcase in Everett was held on Saturday, July 11th, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Everett High School. The Wynn Career Showcase in Charlestown was held the same day from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Bunker Hill Community College. Both events were free and open to the public.
